My Challenge
My challenge to Christian youth is as follows:
1. Have daily time with God EVERYDAY.
2. Look for ways to bless people and help them.
3. Don't look like a slob everywhere you go
4. Look nice in church because you are worshiping the Maker of the universe and King of heaven.
5. Influence others for Christ- don't let them influence you for the world.
6. Don't put a lot of thought into what people say about you. If it's negative, realize that only God's opinion matters. If it's positive, don't let it "go to your head," and give all of the credit to God.
7. Don't place value on if you fit in or not. Who wants to fit in with people of the world? For the most part, they wear inappropriate clothes, have too many piercings, and wear shorts that are down around their thighs, thus showing 3-4 inches of their boxers. Be different from the world and be the "light of the world".
8. Walk the walk instead of just talking the talk.
9. Make a difference for God's kingdom. He has a plan of importance for you and will fulfill that if you are willing to say, "Yes, Lord."
